Half Day | 9am-12am MON-FRI | Ages 5-7

(No prior experience required)

Designed for the youngest horse lover in mind, this camp focuses on beginning horsemanship and will learn to groom as well as walk, maneuver, and halt. Education focuses on colors, breeds, reading horse language, parts of the horse, saddle/bridle - all in English tack

• Caters to the young children who want to learn how to ride

• Teaches safety around horses and how to properly handle them

• Teaches basic balance with starting off no saddles

• Gets young kids comfortable with sitting on a horses back

• Teaches steering and maneuvering at the walk

• Begins to introduce the trot

• Format is taught with 2/3 the time being horse handling, mounted, and horsemanship education. Last hour or 1/3 completing a craft or activity. (For reference a single 2 hour group riding class at TUF is equivalent to $80)
