Join the Community Garden at TUF

Rental rates are for the entire garden season and are not pro-rated.

Garden plots are first offered to previous year members before releasing open plots for public rental. You can join the interest form and waitlist below to be contacted when registration is open.

TUF’s Community Garden consists of 45 garden plots of various shapes and sizes to choose from. Every year the garden plots are cared for by individuals, families, and even local business groups. Community gardeners care for and harvest from their own plot, shared spaces like pathways, perennial herb and pollinator flower beds, sheds, and gathering spaces are cared for by all members of the community garden.

TUF’s Community Garden boasts a thriving community with garden plots that engage directly with The Urban Farm, the non-profit educational organization on which it resides. Education is a key component of our garden; free gardening workshops are offered throughout the season. In addition, the Community Garden features a designated donation garden to be harvested for local food pantries.

The day to day operations of the garden, including registration and organization of community work days and social events, are managed by David Collins and the garden steering committee.
