But as her rural community becomes the epicenter of the pork industry’s explosion in America, Elsie’s struggle to save her family’s home and heritage turns into a battle against one of the world’s most powerful companies and its deadly pollution.

After decades of intimidation and defeat, Elsie and her community team up with a gutsy small-town lawyer to take the world’s largest pork company to court. Farm Demos - Join us in the chicken pen & rabbit hutch with our farm educators. Learn chicken and rabbit facts, and have the chance to pet and feed our feathered and furry friends.

Egg Hunt - Make sure you bring a basket or bucket to collect eggs & treats hidden throughout the farm. Eggs will continue to be hidden throughout the day.

- Do NOT Feed animals unless instructed by staff
 - No chewing gum
- No screaming
- No running
- Do NOT climbing fences  (white "tape" around pens, it is electric DO NOT TOUCH)
- No pets (ADA defined service animals permitted) 
- No Smoking or vaping; No alcohol; No glass

- No Weapons, including but not limited to knives, firearms, bows and arrows, and martial arts weapons are prohibited unless approved by authorized personnel. 

These rules are to assure your safety and the safety of other participants, staff, and our animals. By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to the above rules and TUF's liability waiver you are agreeing to adhere to these rules. Bring your excess seeds to donate or trade and don't worry if you come empty handed- we have plenty to share for you to use in your garden this year.

We will also provide seed envelopes for you to put seeds in and will have sharpies on hand for labeling.

TUF’s Educator & Camp Staff Jess will also lead a seed bomb activity table for any kids (or kids at heart) to make and take with them for FREE.

Save the Date for The Urban Farm's Fall Harvest Dinner, November 5th 2022. TUF will be collaborating with SAME Cafe to craft a delicious meal made from fresh ingredients sourced from our very own fields.
