TUF SUMMER CAMP FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE REQUEST FORM

The Urban Farm offers scholarships for individuals and/or families that demonstrate financial need. This form will request information such as participation in government assistance programs, your family’s budget, and/or other indicators or special circumstances of financial need. The data and information provided may be aggregated to submit to grantors and funders for reporting requirements and garner additional support for our scholarship program. In these circumstances, all individual identifiers will be removed and remain confidential.

A committee will meet to review applications and make awards until all funds are distributed.

  • Diversity: These scholarships are intended to broaden the diversity of life experiences of campers participating in TUF’s programming.

  • Economic Need: We consider family size, income, and/or extenuating circumstances when making awards.

  • Motivation: A written statement from campers and their parents helps us assess motivation during our review process.

  • Funding: We are able to provide financial assistance amounting to 25% – 100% of your camp tuition per camper. Completing an application does not guarantee registration. While TUF is working to grow our scholarship fund, we cannot grant all requests.

Please complete ONE scholarship request per household for summer camp programming. If you are seeking financial assistance for more than 3 children please email us at camp@theurbanfarm.org

Please do not register for camp before receiving an award notice because we are unable to retroactively apply scholarship awards.
