Spring Fling

$5 admission / person age 2 and older (Members free)

Join us in the chicken pen with our poultry and rabbit experts. Learn chicken and rabbit facts, pet our feathered and furry friends, feed the roosters and hunt for Easter eggs all around the pen. Limited supply of real eggs $6/dozen.


Annual Plant Sale

With the new Gompers Greenhouse we can expand our selection of vegetable plants for the garden.  We will feature our usual expansive tomato selections of heirlooms, new varieties to try, varieties you have come to love, and old favorites. 

  • Tomatoes in every color from black to white
  • Peppers hot and sweet; Basil sweet and spicy
  • Eggplant heirlooms; and select vegetable transplants

In addition to our usual offerings of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and basil, new this year will be select vegetable transplants to get your garden off to a jump start.  All plants are grown on site at The Urban Farm using organic methods (non-certified organic).  We always focus on organic seeds, over 40 varieties of tomatoes, non-GMO, and expert advice.  You won’t find this selection in retail markets!

Plant, Eat, and Get Local 

May 19, 2018 – 10:00am-4:00pm

An added event to our Annual Plant Sale featuring vendors of local food products, specialty and gourmet foods (organic,vegan), small family farm products, CSA’s, and local meats.  Educational opportunities, sustainable practices, backyard poultry care, healthy living, handcrafted items, and more!
